Delamore Fencing has been providing fencing servicing to the Santa Clara County since 2002. Kevin Delamore has more than 30 years of combined experience in the construction industry which inspired him to establish Delamore Fencing.
Located in San Jose, California, Delamore Fencing has built a successful company based on these four essential business principles:
Interlocking boards create a seamless, solid panel for maximum privacy and noise reduction. This design offers a clean, elegant look with superior durability.
A classic, decorative fence with evenly spaced pickets, available in various styles. Ideal for defining property lines while maintaining an open and welcoming feel.
Alternating pickets on both sides create a semi-private design that looks great from either side. It provides airflow and privacy from most angles.
A rustic, open-style fence with horizontal rails, ideal for large properties or decorative boundaries. Provides a natural, countryside aesthetic with minimal obstruction.
Sleek, modern fence style with horizontal boards for a contemporary look. Offers privacy and style, perfect for modern landscapes.
Traditional wood fence with boards nailed directly onto rails, available in various styles. A versatile and cost-effective option for privacy and security.
Features irregular, round-edged wood slats for a rustic, natural look. Commonly used in vineyards and Southwestern-style landscapes.
Our local supply vendor in San Jose FSI (Fence Specialties Inc) sources only the best material and has worked with Delamore Fencing since the beginning.
We work closely with FSI to make sure that all our material is selected for quality and if not it’s returned/exchanged before being installed.
The most common grade of redwood we use for standard residential fencing is called select common meaning that the outer sap (white wood) layer of the tree is mixed with the inner (red colored) layer of the tree. The result is a red & white marble looking board. This select common grade is available with smaller quarter size knots or special ordered clear common with no knots.
The next grade level up is called construction heart and is considered the premium grade with a slight price increase. The advantage of construction heart is primarily the initial consistent beautiful pure red look as well as its ability to fight off dry rot fungus and termites for many years. This grade is taken from the core (mid-section) of the tree just inside the outer sap layer. The estimator will be happy to go over all these grade choices with you on site during the scheduled estimate appointment.
The two most important (backbone) parts of the fence are the vertical post and horizontal kickboard on the bottom of the fence. Throughout the life of the fence these two parts are serving as critical support for your fence. Delamore Fence spends more money and time to select the best quality pressure treated wood available for this reason. We only install .40 concentrated ACQ treated Douglas Fir with a #2 or better rating.
We also make sure that all the post we buy are 90% FOHC (free of heart center) to help avoid post that will twist and bow over time. The Douglas Fir material is known to be much more stable and stronger over time then Hemlock Fir. Most contractors install a lesser grade Hemlock Fir with knots to save money, which will normally last until their warranty (3-5 years) is up.
Delamore Fence is a fully licensed and insured provider of professional fencing solutions. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality installations, ensuring both security and aesthetic appeal for your property.
